Jackie Chan “Becoming the Dragon” According to the Bazi chart, Jackie is a person of Yin Water, born in the month of the Dragon. The pillar of the month, the element of Earth, is Right Power, which indicates that he is a reliable and practical person. Correct Power, and even with the earth - following traditions and principles. Jackie Chan promotes a healthy lifestyle: he himself does not smoke, does not drink alcohol or even coffee. His card, one might say, has a strong “spark” - films with funny jokes, humor and insanely dangerous stunts brought him significant success. He has several Noble Taiji stars in his chart, which speak of good, good health. And in the celestial(селестиал) х trunk of the year - an attack on power, and even a wooden one. Creative creativity, non-standard solutions - this is exactly what we see in his films. The Hong Kong film industry was in decline during this period, and, unable to find new work, Chan went to visit his parents in Australia in early 1976. For some time he worked in construction. But he was lucky - his stunt tricks were noticed and he was invited to play the main role in the film “The New Fist of Fury” (1976). 丙辰 – the year of the fire Dragon brought the actor the main role. Jackie Chan's first success came after the release of the films "Snake in the Eagle's Shadow" (1978 戊午) and "Drunken Master" (1978 戊午) directed by Yuan Heping (Yun Wop-hin). The director gave Chan complete freedom on the set, allowing him to perform various stunts on his own, adjust the script and improvise in the frame. Jackie did an excellent job and formed a new genre in cinema - a comedy where martial arts and dangerous stunts are closely intertwined. At first glance, his chart appears to be of the Follow type: the flow leads to strong Earth and Fire. But is it? Let's look at life events. In the early 1980s, Jackie Chan became a very successful actor with his own unique style, but known mainly in the Asian region. Jackie dreamed of conquering the whole world, in particular the USA. This is the pillar of luck 庚午. Metal is a Resource, and Horse, Fire are money. Between 1983 and 2007, Chan was nominated almost every year at the Hong Kong Film Festival for Best Actor or Best Stunt Coordinator, a prize he won five times. But real success in the United States came to Chan only in the mid-1990s after the film “Rumble in the Bronx” (1995). Chan's other new works, filmed in Hong Kong, also received recognition: “Stormbreaker” (1995), “First Strike” (1996), “Mr. Cool” (1996). In 1998, Jackie Chan directed his first all-American film, Rush Hour, starring Chris Tucker. The film became very popular: Rush Hour turned out to be one of the highest-grossing films of the year, and the creative tandem of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker received the MTV Movie Awards as the best duet. On November 12, 2016, Jackie Chan was awarded the Academy Award for “extraordinary achievements” in cinema. The most interesting thing is that a significant breakthrough in career and creativity and entry into the US market are the pillars of success for Water on Metal, which, at first glance, does not “fight” with the version of following. Music and vocals are often attributed to the elements of Water and Metal, and it is interesting that Jackie Chan studied vocals professionally at the Peking Opera School from childhood. In the 1980s, he began recording songs and gained popularity as a performer in Hong Kong and the Asian region. Since 1984, he has released 20 albums with compositions in Cantonese, Mandarin and Taiwanese, as well as Japanese and English. He often performed songs for his films himself, but when the films were released in Europe and the USA, these compositions were replaced. In addition to commercial projects, Jackie Chan also helps people. Back in 1988, he founded the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation to provide scholarships to young people in Hong Kong and help those affected by natural disasters and diseases.
